A total of 8 hours in required courses and 9 elective academic credit hours will be necessary for attaining the Agrosecurity Certificate. Three courses will serve as core requirements for the Certificate Program: CRSS 2001 – Terror and the Food Supply; also ADSC(AAEC,CRSS,FDST,POUL)3840 - Agriculture Incident Response, a practical training course to provide knowledge of hazards and response skills; and AESC 4700 Agrosecurity Seminar, a capstone course to explore current agrosecurity topics through guest speakers and independent research as a final accomplishment for certificate students.  The total hours required for obtaining the certificate is 17 hours of academic credit.
